A medieval party from Midgaard Event is an adventurous and lively company party where great food, quirky service and plenty of interactive entertainment come together. The medieval party takes place at the Jolly Inn, where the atmosphere is warm, boisterous and full of life. There are no conventional waiters here. Instead, guests are welcomed by an innkeeper, his wife, serfs and other medieval characters who take care of service, entertainment and surprises throughout the evening.
The service is deliberately informal, and the entire evening is built around shared laughter and togetherness. Through fun interactive elements, guests experience their colleagues from a new and entertaining angle, as the party unfolds naturally between courses.
The medieval atmosphere is front and centre from start to finish. Candlelight, rustic decoration and medieval music set the scene, and the evening is filled with live entertainment including a medieval orchestra, group chain dancing, a combat show and fire dancing.
during dinner, competitions, games and small challenges between tables keep the energy high and give the evening momentum. Creative elements such as poetry competitions and short tasks ensure that everyone can participate — without it feeling heavy or demanding.
For the evening’s festivities, the innkeeper has invited the lord of the manor and his fair daughter, who faces an impending marriage to the right knight. The tables function as teams, and each team must select a suitor from among themselves.
Throughout the evening, the suitors and their retinues must prove their worth in a series of competitions and challenges, where strength, cunning, creativity and teamwork are rewarded. It all unfolds with a twinkle in the eye and plenty of room for laughter and celebration.
The dinner for the medieval party is prepared by skilled chefs and put together according to your wishes. A popular option is our rustic grill menus, where much of the food is prepared on outdoor oversized grills. Guests can follow the preparation and watch the meal come together — for example while activities such as THE CHALLENGE or a TEAMBUILDING ROLEPLAYING experience unfold around them.
The menu can for example feature wild boar, beef, lamb or ostrich, grilled vegetables, salads, large open-faced breads, dessert tarts and a fruit and cheese board. The style is generous, rustic and indulgent — just like the party itself.
The medieval party works perfectly as a standalone event, but also serves as an ideal finale to an active day.
