The Testament is a murder mystery full of surprises and suspense – the wealthy host has died under mysterious circumstances, leaving behind a videotape, threatening letters from the killer, his entire fortune, and the all-important, fateful will. It is up to the dinner guests to solve the murder!
Experience a murder mystery and immerse yourself in a story of murder, intrigue, and plenty of suspense! In “The Testament”, you are a guest at a murder mystery dinner where you can unleash your inner actor while, together with the others, you try to solve a murder mystery – and hopefully identify which of you is the killer.
Following an invitation, a group of acquaintances of the industrial magnate Herbert Cornelius Thomson have gathered for this fateful murder mystery dinner. What at first seems to be a dinner with exciting news from Mr Thomson turns into a deadly murder mystery – for Mr Thomson is dead, and he leaves behind a videotape, threatening letters from the killer, and his entire fortune, which now forms the basis of his Testament. Mr Thomson knew he was going to die, but he will not let his death end like other murder mysteries.
During this murder mystery dinner, courage and curiosity are required, and you must be clever—for those who solve the murder mystery will have their name written into Mr Thomson’s Testament, with the prospect of DKK 137 million.
THE TESTAMENT draws inspiration from thrilling murder mysteries and exquisite dinners, all combined into one entertaining mix of mystery and celebration. As participants, you are assigned a role along with personal items and props, and during the murder mystery dinner it is the characters’ task to solve the mystery using common sense, imagination, and immersion.
One of the participants is the killer, whose goal is not to be exposed along the way, but instead to place obstacles in the other participants’ investigation. Along the way, we lead the event through the presence of the butler James and the chef Soufflé, and of course Herbert himself, who—through a video recording—will be seated at the table with the invited guests.

18:30 The guests are welcomed into the dining room via a video recording with the late Thomson
18:45 Take your seats with communal singing
18:50 Soufflé presents the food while James runs Mr Thomson’s carefully planned programme
21:00 Each guest names a killer. The killer selects new victims.
21:15 The reveal. The killer is arrested (or gets away if no one solves the murder)
21:30 The master detective is announced. James and Soufflé, on behalf of Midgaard Event, say thank you and goodbye
