An innovative murder mystery theatre experience set in 1935, where you follow the story in the 60 minutes leading up to the murder of the goulash baron, Aksel Huxley. In “The Golden Watch”, you follow 7 actors with their internal conflicts and storyline, and you must piece together the plot and motives yourselves.
The Golden Watch Murder Mystery is ideal for staging at castles, manor houses, and old hotels. The scenes take place around the venue as live immersive theatre, where guests are flies on the wall, making observations and deductions. The story unfolds in several places at once, so each guest experiences only fragments of the full sequence of events, making the play perfect for team building, where groups work together to share their observations and suspicions and, together, identify both the murderer and the suspects’ motives.
The theatre game can be run as a 3-hour event at any time of day, or combined with lunch or dinner over a slightly longer period, where the meal provides breaks between the scenes around the venue.
The game is ideal for INDOOR TEAM BUILDING, where you will use teamwork and rely on both your senses and logic, but it can also be booked as a purely interactive MURDER MYSTERY for ENTERTAINMENT.
14:00 – Participants arrive at the theatre hall, where rows of chairs have been set up for interactive theatre.
14:10 – Scene 8 – MURDER COMMITTED
The play begins with a scream, and the maid discovers the murdered person in their bed. All characters, the suspects, arrive at the crime scene one by one. Detective Colombo is called in and takes stock of the murder. Time is then rewound to one hour before the murder.
14:20 – Scene 1 – ARRIVAL
Butler James welcomes the evening’s guests, one by one, as they arrive at the estate.
14:30 – Scenes 2–6 – DRAMA AT THE ESTATE
The actors take turns leaving the theatre hall. Participants form teams and each follows an actor around the estate, where dramatic scenes between the actors unfold, and observant participants will discover clues, motives, and evidence along the way.
15:30 – TEAM DEBRIEF
Participants meet in the theatre hall, where they gather in teams and share discoveries and experiences.
15:40 – Scenes 2–6 – NEW ANGLE
Time is then rewound once again to the hour leading up to the murder, where participants can now follow a new actor and discover new angles in the story.
16:30 – THE SOLUTION
Participants meet for the last time in their teams, where they can share observations and present their suggestions for all characters’ motives and, not least, the murderer.

We also offer a “Black Box version” that can be held for smaller groups of up to 10 people, e.g., for a small company event, a bachelor/bachelorette party, or an evening with friends. We bring one actor, who acts as the instructor and brings all props. You will now act as both detectives and actors, taking turns performing selected scenes of your own choosing. Through the chosen scenes, you must piece together the fragments of the full storyline leading up to the murder and thereby identify the murderer and motives. This version is ideal for those who would like to challenge their own acting abilities while also enjoying a fun mystery-solving experience.
