A global pandemic is imminent, and you are the last chance to complete the cure that nine deceased scientists have been working on. Step into the laboratories and solve the challenges to finalise the cure.
Outbreak is an intense breakout room where time pressure, teamwork and decision-making are crucial. You enter exciting laboratories where a deadly epidemic threatens to spread. Your mission is clear: find the antidote and get out before time runs out. You have 75 minutes to analyse the situation, solve puzzles and act efficiently as a team. The game is suitable for 3–6 participants per room, and with multiple identical rooms, larger groups can compete in parallel – ideal for teambuilding and corporate events.
Outbreak is Europe’s largest Escape Room installation. With 10 identical escape rooms, up to 60 people can compete simultaneously – perfect for teambuilding and larger groups.
A serious incident has struck a secret research facility. A contagious virus has been released, and only a few clues point to a possible solution. You enter as a specialist team sent in to find the crucial knowledge before the facility is permanently shut down. Along the way, you must navigate the laboratory’s abandoned traces, encrypted information and hidden mechanisms. Every decision counts, and time is working against you. Only through effective teamwork can you stop the outbreak.
Outbreak is a fast-paced escape game where logic, overview and communication take centre stage. The puzzles vary in type and difficulty and require the entire team to contribute actively. Some tasks must be solved quickly; others require immersion and analysis. No one can do it alone – success depends on your ability to share information, coordinate actions and stay calm under pressure. The game is designed to engage all participants and create a natural focus on teamwork.
Before the game starts, you will receive a thorough introduction from an experienced gamemaster, who will go through the rules and framework. During the game, the gamemaster monitors your progress and can provide hints if you get stuck. The difficulty level can be adjusted to your level, making Outbreak suitable for both first-time visitors and experienced escape room participants. The goal is to create a challenging yet motivating experience where everyone feels involved.
Outbreak is built around realistic and atmospheric scenography that supports the story of a closed research environment. Lighting, sound and details are carefully calibrated to create an intense experience where participants quickly forget the outside world. The game was developed by Midgaard Event’s in-house design team, with a focus on both game flow and atmosphere.
Outbreak is particularly well suited as an INDOOR TEAMBUILDING event, where teamwork, communication and problem-solving are put into play in an engaging way.
The experience can be a standalone activity or combined with other events from Midgaard Event – e.g. CASINO EVENT, workshops or social elements. For larger groups, Outbreak can be combined with several of our ESCAPE ROOMS IN COPENHAGEN, and if it is not to take place in Copenhagen, we also offer Outbreak as a MOBILE ESCAPE ROOM, which can be run anywhere in Denmark for up to 120 people at the same time.
We handle the coordination and delivery, ensuring you get a professional, fully rounded corporate event.
