A pirate party from Midgaard Event is a lively, atmospheric corporate party where pirate vibes, rum, treasure and maritime details set the scene. The evening features active games, music, competitions and shared experiences that bring guests together in a festive pirate universe.
Our pirate party is inspired by the sea’s rugged romance and classic pirate atmosphere. The venue is staged with a maritime look and feel—ropes, wood, lanterns and pirate details that create the sensation of stepping aboard. The mood is informal and energetic—this is all about community, laughter and movement as the evening unfolds.
Before dinner, you compete throughout the evening in a series of pirate-inspired features. Activities such as a balance beam with foam batons, sword duels with LARP swords, pirate games and brain teasers provide variety in pace and ensure everyone can take part. Everything is done with a twinkle in the eye and plenty of cheering from the sidelines.
The pirate party is elevated by music, rum and maritime rituals that bring guests together. During dinner, creative features emerge where each table team must compose a verse for a pirate song. The best verses go through to the final, where the evening’s best pirate song is crowned. The feature creates laughter, a sense of community and unexpected highlights.
The pirate party can be expanded with larger activities before and during dinner, adding extra depth and energy to the experience.
Before dinner, THE CHALLENGE in a pirate edition can serve as an active warm-up, where teams are challenged in pirate-inspired disciplines that require teamwork, ingenuity and competitive spirit. Alternatively, FANTASY BATTLE can be used as an high-energy programme where physical activity, humour and shared challenges set the tone for the evening.
During dinner, ESCAPE THE BOX can be integrated into the pirate theme. Each table team receives a treasure chest with locks that can only be opened by solving riddles and tasks along the way. The activity fits naturally between courses and gives guests something to work on together as the suspense builds.
15:00 – Pirate activities before dinner
The afternoon can begin with DYSTEN IN PIRATE EDITION or EVENTYRBATTLE, where teams gather and are challenged in shared disciplines.
17:00 – Arrival and maritime welcome
Guests arrive to a pirate atmosphere and are welcomed into the maritime-decorated setting. Optional arrival by boat.
18:00 – Welcome and first toast
The evening gets underway with a shared toast and an introduction to the evening’s pirate universe.
Dinner with games and song competition
During dinner, pirate games, brain teasers and ESCAPE THE BOX take place, while the tables compose verses for the pirate song.
Music and finals
The best song verses are performed in the final, and the evening’s winners are announced.
21:00 – Free party and wrap-up
The atmosphere stays high with music, rum and socialising as the party continues in a free format.
01:00 – Thank you for tonight
