Houdini Pop-Up Escape Room is a mobile and portable escape room experience that can be set up almost anywhere in Denmark and abroad – for example at conferences, trade fairs, events, festivals, or as entertainment for corporate events. You get a fully authentic escape room game with 15 minutes of play time, where 2–4 players work intensively as a team to crack the final puzzles and escape before time runs out. After 5 minutes to reset the game, new participants can try it – meaning we can run approximately 3 teams per hour.
The game is designed to engage both participants and spectators, and can be tailored to your event format and needs.
In Houdini Pop-Up Escape Room, you enter the last dressing room left behind by Harry Houdini, the world’s most famous escape artist. Houdini was known for his spectacular escapes from locked chests, sealed rooms, and difficult traps in the early 1900s – and now he challenges you to solve his final mystery. According to legend, he set up his own room with secret challenges, and those who can uncover the mystery as quickly as possible will remain among the sharpest challengers.
The game takes place in a compact room of approximately 3.2 × 5 metres with 2.5-metre-high walls and is equipped with props, camera, lighting, and screens, so both players and spectators outside can follow the game. You must work as a team to solve various tasks, crack codes, and use observation skills and logic – all within a short time, creating an intense and engaging experience. The Houdini game is fast-paced, entertaining, and particularly well suited to events where tempo and participation are the focus.
Houdini Pop-Up Escape Room has an easy to medium difficulty level, where the puzzles combine visual, logical, mathematical, and language elements – allowing different skills to come into play. The game is perfect for beginners and anyone looking for a quick, fun, and challenging activity. When a team completes the task within the 15 minutes, the result can be marked with a victory tune and a time on the day’s leaderboard.
Houdini Escape Room is developed by Midgaard Event’s own game designers and can only be experienced with us. Set design, music, and puzzles are inspired by Houdini’s own mystique and the atmosphere of the 1920s, creating an ambience that is both captivating and fun. The game can be set up in less than five hours and requires only a space of approximately 3.2 × 5 metres.
